Darko and Blazenka Brozovic are the owners of Belmar Kennel, they have been breeding German Shorthaired Pointers (GSP) since 2011. Darko is one of the founding members of the Ottawa Chapter North American Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) and has been involved with NAVHDA for the last 14 years. Darko is currently a member Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and GSP Club of Canada. Over the years Darko has trained and tested many dogs through the CKC for top level field dog titles. In NAVHDA more then half of the dogs registered are German Shorthaired Pointers because they are the most versatile hunting and sporting breed. 

Belmar Kennel are a very reputable breeder who takes pride in quality breeding physically, healthwise and for sound temperaments in their dogs. A dog who is quiet at home and a hunting machine in the field is their goal. Their is no inter breeding and their dogs have strong German bloodlines so the dogs are better physically and healthwise. Belmar Kennel breeds German Shorthaired Pointers for a solid point and a solid nose, but who can also work well in the water. Belmar Kennel breed for quality breeding not for quantity.
